DIY Halloween Costumes From Amazon

Are you looking for a DIY Halloween costume? I like to dress up for Halloween but I don’t like to spend a lot. If you’re like me, you’re in luck! In this post I am sharing some cute and simple DIY Halloween costumes that you can buy from Amazon.

Rachel Green Friends Halloween Costume

Rachel Green Halloween Costume

I’m going as Rachel Green from Friends this year. This is the perfect year to go as a character from Friends because it’s the show’s 25th anniversary. It’s also such a simple outfit!

All you need is an article of clothing that has the Central Perk logo on it. I went for this t-shirt because I can wear it again. But you could also wear this apron which is $24.99. I paired the shirt with a black skirt and then a khaki apron around my waist.

You can easily wear sneakers, booties or heels with this outfit. If it’s going to be cold out you can also wear tights. Be sure to hold a coffee cup when it’s picture time!

Barbie DIY Halloween Costume

Want to be a Barbie girl in a Barbie world? Here’s the perfect costume! Specifically this is Barbie’s outfit from Toy Story. I’m loving this costume because I’ve also been loving the 80’s aerobics look, especially after watching Stranger Things this summer. You wouldn’t necessarily have to be Barbie with this outfit, you could just be an 80’s aerobic junkie. You can buy a Barbie costume as a set for $54, or check out the pieces I selected below. Sneakers or heels would go great with this look!

Boo From Monsters, Inc.

This is the simplest outfit on the list! Boo is a beloved character with a really basic outfit, a pink t-shirt with purple leggings. Be sure that the pink t-shirt is oversized and wear some white converse!

Lilo and Stitch

Lilo is another cute DIY Halloween costume. To get this look, you’ll need a green skirt and a red top. You can wear a bandeau or tank top, depending on how revealing you want the outfit to be. Be sure to add a headpiece as well! This costume can be complete without this accessory, but check out this cute Stitch purse. It completes the Lilo and Stitch look but would also be really convenient because you wouldn’t have to carry around a regular purse that may throw off the look.

Dora the Explorer Costume

The new live action Dora the Explorer movie was just released which makes this a good time to go as this fun character. All you need is a pink shirt, some orange shorts, yellow socks, sneakers and a purple backpack. I like this look again because you wouldn’t need to carry around an extra purse. Be sure to at roll up a piece of paper and throw it in your backpack because Dora wouldn’t go anywhere without her map!

I hope you enjoyed this post of DIY Halloween costume ideas. One of my favorite parts about most of these outfits is that you can rewear a lot of the pieces. Let me know what you’re going to be for Halloween!
