Today I want to share a recap of my style and beauty favorites from this summer. The summer of 2020, has been a crazy one to say the least. Fashion tended to lean on the more casual side and lipstick was a thing of the past since we were all wearing masks. Here are my summer 2020 style and beauty favorites.

Remember when we thought maybe COVID would go away by August of 2020? Well, that didn’t happen.
Even though I’ve had nowhere to go this summer, that did not stop my online shopping. There are a few trends and products that stood out to me this season and I’ve highlighted them below. Be sure to share what you loved this summer in the comments!
Summer 2020 Style Favorites
Here are my favorite fashion trends and products from this summer. My everyday style was a lot more casual than previous summers since I have been working from home. Comfy slippers were a must and I only had to look presentable from the waist up since most of my social interactions were on Zoom.
Cowrie Shell Jewelry
Cowrie shells were one of the first trends I was excited about this summer. My favorite way to wear them were as hair clips. Hair clips are a great addition to an outfit, especially if most of your social interactions are over Zoom.
I bought this set of shell hair clips back in April. These are probably my favorite Amazon find from this summer! Shortly after I got these I noticed them popping up at bigger stores, such as Target. There are so many different ways to style this pack of seashell hair clips!

One Shoulder Tops
I couldn’t get enough of one shoulder tops this summer. I had to get a tank top and my favorite swimsuit had one shoulder as well.
This tank top is still available in a few colors – unfortunately not the one I am wearing.
This cute ruffled blouse was a TJ Maxx find, it was only $6.99!
Lululemon Belt Bag
I use this bag everyday when I take my dog for a walk. It’s cute and functional. I wrap it diagonally around my chest. This was one of my best sellers on the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. I saw tons of people sporting this bag. PLUS it was recently restocked in black.
Bright Graphic T-Shirts
I saw a lot of band tees this summer, but that isn’t really my style. I opted for bright and fun t-shirts. They are cute and really comfortable. I purchased two from Francesca’s. My favorite is probably my weekend t-shirt but I got another that said “Need My Coffee.”
Sandal Slippers
My regular slippers were a little too warm for the summer, so I had to get some new ones. This has been a work from home necessity for me, my feet would hurt if I walked around barefoot all day.
The fuzzy slippers were really popular, but I was worried about the fuzz looking gross after a while, so I went with these memory foam slippers instead. They are comfortable, but they come untied a lot which can be annoying.
Summer 2020 Beauty Favorites
In previous recessions, lipstick sales have skyrocketed, however that was not the case during this pandemic because everyone was wearing masks. Instead eyeliner sales were on the rise. Generally in these times people will purchase smaller, inexpensive luxuries, such as lipstick or eyeliner, instead of splurging on something like a designer bag. However, I have probably only worn eyeliner twice this summer!
Here are my summer 2020 beauty favorites.
Coola Sunscreen
This has been my favorite face sunscreen for two summers now. I wear it every morning. It helps to moisturize my skin and protect it from the sun. It goes on smooth and is very lightweight. I recently tried a mineral sunscreen from Coola and I coudn’t stand the texture of it. It felt so greasy and, frankly, gross on my face.

Watermelon Polishing Peel
I received this polishing peel in the spring 2020 FabFitFun box. I use it when I felt like my skin needed a little boost. It has a great scent and it feels good on my face. Plus watermelon is a summer staple.
Rose Water Spray
I backed away from moisturizers this summer and used rose water spray. It did just the right amount of moisturizing without allowing my skin to get oily. However, I know in the winter I will need to return to using moisturizer more regularly.
I discovered this product in the summer 2019 FabFitFun box.
This was definitely a summer for the history books, but these products and trends made it a whole lot better!
