Becca Concealer Review

Becca Concealer Review wearing the color birch

Mascara and concealer are the two things I generally do not leave the house without. My mom was never seen without makeup when I was growing up and I am pretty much the same way. I have been using the same drugstore concealer for the last few years, but I recently decided to upgrade and I’m so happy I did. I don’t wear foundation, just concealer and powder. I feel like foundation is too heavy to wear on my face for a normal day, because of this my concealer needs to do a good job. For my first “nicer” concealer purchase, I chose the Becca Ultimate Coverage Longwear Concealer in the color Birch. Here are my thoughts:

Application

I first dab the areas that need to be covered with the application stick. I always apply under my eyes to cover any dark circles and then on any blemishes that need attention. With the use of a damp Beauty Blender I tap under my eyes and spread the product down to the corner of my nose where I am usually a little red. I then work in the blemish areas. Whatever leftover product is still on the blender I will apply to my chin and forehead. Once everything thing is complete I apply powder and move on to bronzer, blush, and highlighter.

This concealer does a great job of brightening the areas under my eyes. After using it consistently for around a month now I am sold on the product. I can wear it all day and don’t feel like it is wearing off. I won’t be going back to drugstore concealer anytime soon.
