How to Style Madison Braids

Today I’m sharing how to style Madison Braids. Madison Braids is a company that offers braided headbands that match your hair color. It gives you the look of a real braid with half of the time! I just received my Madison Braid and I’m excited to share five ways you can style it. In this post you’ll find a video tutorial and some outfit inspiration.

This post contains affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you were to purchase any of the items linked at no additional cost to you. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received this product as a gift from Madison Braids, but I genuinely like the product and would not share if I felt otherwise. They did not ask me to write this blog post.

I’ve pinned tons of braided hairstyles on Pinterest, but I can never successfully recreate them. I know how to braid, but it doesn’t always look good.

This is why I was so excited to receive a Madison Braid headband! I put together five really simple hairstyles and I’m sharing them in the video below!

I hope you enjoyed the video! I’m still sharpening my video creation skills. Video is an area that is out of my comfort zone, but it’s a good thing to step out of that zone occasionally!

I am wearing the Lulu Two Strand braid in the color ashy light brown. I was nervous on what color I should order, but Madison Braids offers free color matching. All you have to do is send them a photo of your hair in natural light and they will give you a recommendation.

If you want one of your own, you can use the code “EMILYBELLOMA” at checkout to save 15% on your order.

Another nice feature is that the headbands are adjustable so you don’t have to worry about it not fitting your head properly.

I keep talking about how many great deals I’m finding at Francescas’s lately and this top is one of them! I love the color and I think since it is more of a mustard yellow it can be styled to transition into fall well.

I’m also wearing some new shoes that I just got from Sole Society! This was my first purchase from Sole Society and I was a littler nervous because the shoes were on such a great sale. But I like them and definitely think they are good quality for the price.

Final Verdict on Madison Braids

I honestly really like this product and I know I will be wearing it a lot! I do think that these braids are good value for money, the braid I’m wearing is $35.

The only sort of downside of the product is that it is a little shinier than my natural hair, but I have a really dull color of hair that doesn’t shine. (Did you know I’ve never colored my hair?!) That’s the only thing I could think of to critique, and it is not super noticeable to me so it won’t stop me from wearing it at all!
