I expect the FabFitFun winter box to be full of cozy and cute items, it did not disappoint. This box contained a soft blanket and a variety of beauty products. In this unsponsored review I am giving details on all the items that were in my winter box.
I almost thought I wasn’t going to receive my winter box. I forgot that this box had shipped while I was on vacation in Aruba. So this box sat out in the rain on my doorstep for two days, but nothing on the inside was destroyed, or even damp. However the box has seen better days.
UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow Blanket
This is my favorite item in this box! This is honestly one of the softest, coziest blankets I have ever felt. It’s everyone’s new favorite blanket, my fiancé loves it and our cat can’t resist napping on it. Also, it’s faux fur and a cruelty-free product.
The Lil’ Marsh blanket retails for $65, and worth every penny! UnHide also has a heavier version of this blanket that is available in five different colors.
PJ Salvage Faux Trim Cable Slippers
These slippers are super cute, however, I wasn’t jumping up and down with excitement because I already have a pair of slippers that I really like (these slippers from J. Crew Factory). I still liked this item to be included in the box because they are easy to give to someone else for Christmas.
Adore by Swarovski Organic Circle Bracelet
I’m always happy to get jewelry in my box! I don’t wear jewelry on my wrist a lot, but this simple bracelet is easy to add to almost any outfit. It retails for $39.00.
Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin’ Palette
FabFitFun hooked me into purchasing their boxes by showing me ads with influencers who received a Naked Palette. I hope there is an eyeshadow palette in every box but there has never been one since I subscribed two years ago… until the winter 2019 box.
I was ecstatic to find this eyeshadow palette in my box, although I do have some opinions on the colors. I was a little disappointed with the colors because I prefer to wear them more around fall time. The colors also weren’t as pigmented as I would have expected and many are a little too orange for me. For example, I put the Mango Pudding on the back of my hand and it looked like I had just eaten some Cheetohs. So needless to say, I won’t be using that color. The rest of the colors are okay, but I wouldn’t say I would recommend anyone to buy this palette. It retails for $38.00.
Vera Mona Color Switch Solo
This brush cleaner allows you to switch between shades without using water or soap. It cleaned my brushes well and I will continue to use this product! Cleaning of the Color Switch Solo seems to be very easy as well. This retails for $16.99.
Cuccio Somatology™ CALM + CLEAN Epsom Salt Hand And Body Wash
I almost never have to buy body wash or body lotion because FabFitFun is always restocking my supply. I love getting these items! This product retails for $39.95.
Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler
This Drybar prime and prep detangler was a great addition to the winter box as well. It has a pleasant scent. Retail value is $23.00.
MakeUp Eraser In Original Pink
I’ve been a fan of the MakeUp Eraser for a couple years now. I’ve recommended this product to multiple friends and I am so glad to have another one! The MakeUp Eraser is great because all you have to do is add warm water to the microfiber cloth and it seamlessly washes off your makeup.
I try not to put very many products on my face so it is a great alternative to makeup removing wipes. It’s also reusable so you can save money by not buying makeup remover. I wash my MakeUp Eraser in the washing machine once a week. Retail value is $20.
Overall I really enjoyed the FabFitFun winter box. I was so happy with the UnHide blanket that everything else was just an added bonus!
