In this post I give my unsponsored review of the FabFitFun fall box. Fall is my favorite time of year, so naturally it should be one of my favorite boxes! This box had a variety of accessories and beauty products, I am reviewing the items I received in my customized box.
Plush Ultra Soft Plaid Scarf
I wanted a plaid scarf like this last year, but never got around to buying one. So, I’m excited that it was an option in the FabFitFun fall box! Plaid is perfect for fall and so easy to style! I’m wearing this scarf with a plain sweater and shoes that have a pop of color.
Kut From the Kloth Slim Striped Wallet
I’ve been wanting a different wallet so I selected this option over the other items, which were a Kate Spade lunch tote, some detox pads and a cheeseboard. I don’t think the quality of this wallet seems very good so I’m not sure if I will actually use it. This is probably my least favorite item of the whole box but I still don’t regret choosing it because I wasn’t excited about the other options.
BaubleBar Farah Ear Crawlers
I love BaubleBar! This brand is known for making stylish, high-quality and affordable jewelry. I also love their lower-end brand, SUGARFIX which is available at Target. While I do love FabFitFun for introducing me to new brands, it’s also nice to see brands you already like included in the box.
These earrings are meant to crawl up your ears, however I couldn’t get them to rest quite right on my ear. If I were to wear them as a crawler I would want them to be a little smaller. But I don’t mind wearing them just like normal earrings. I still think they’re really cute!
Unfortunately it looks like the Farah Ear Crawlers are sold out. I built a collection below of similar styles from BaubleBar. One is on sale for only $15!
tréStiQue Mini Eye Essentials
I had to test out this set. It includes a brow pencil, a shimmery eyeshadow crayon, a brown eyeshadow crayon and black eyeliner.
I don’t generally like eyeshadow crayons because I have found them to crease really easily in the past. To counter this I applied my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, which I wear everyday. I applied the shimmery crayon all over my lid and in the inner crease. I then took the brown crayon to the outer corner to add some depth. The brown crayon was a little too pigmented for me so I had to blend it with my finger to even it out. This eyeshadow lasted all day and did not crease at all! I’m a fan!
I also really liked the brow pencil, the angle made it really easy to apply. The eyeliner was nice but not outstanding, I prefer liquid liner.
This is not the best quality photo, but I wanted to share what it looked like on. I am wearing all four products in the set in this photo. It looked better in person, I swear!
Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Roller Ball
This roller ball has a nice scent and is supposed to help you relax. It contains a relaxing blend of vetivert, chamomile and sandalwood. I’m not a big essential oils fan but I do like this smell of this and will wear it by applying it to my wrists.
Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair
I’m sure we all have damaged hair so this is a great addition to the box. I’ve only used it once so far so I’m not expecting to see results. I also didn’t notice that my hair felt softer after I used it, but I will continue to apply it to my damp hair. One thing I did like about it was the smell. It smelled natural and “earthy.”
Harper + Ari Exfoliating Sugar Cubes in Juice Cleanse
Okay, these exfoliating cubes smell amazing. My first thought when I opened them up was, “I want to eat these.” My mom was with me when I opened them and was making remarks about the juice cleanse product. For a second I thought I had mistaken them for a bath scrub when really they were meant to be eaten and I was so happy – but I was wrong. DO NOT EAT THESE. 🙂
I enjoyed using this product and obviously love the scent, however, I don’t see that this would be a product I would ever purchase on my own. The retail value of $16 seems a little high for the amount of cubes. Below I’ve linked the product at Anthropologie that is $24. If you are on the market for a sugar scrub, I recommend Raw Sugar.
Human + Kind Body Soufflé
FabFitFun is always restocking my body lotion collection so I almost never have to purchase these items. This is a nice, all-natural product with a pleasant scent. However, because it was called a “soufflé” I was expecting this to have a different texture. It seemed like regular lotion to me, which is fine, I was just expecting something different because of the product name.
Overall Opinion of The FabFitFun Fall Box
Overall, I’m happy with this box but because fall is my favorite season I usually have higher expectations for this particular box. My favorite items are the scarf, the earrings and the mini eye essentials set. The item I am least excited about is the wallet.
