Leopard Print Vs. Snakeskin

If you would have asked me two years ago what I thought of leopard print I would have told you it should stay at the Jersey Shore. For around 10 years I have pretty much hated animal print, but all that has changed. Two of my favorite patterns are leopard and snakeskin. In this post I’m linking affordable leopard and snakeskin clothes that would be easy additions to any wardrobe.

What About Zebra?

Animal print was really cool when I was in middle school. I decided my print was going to be zebra print. I had a black and purple zebra striped shirt that I thought was the coolest and I wore it with my purple eyeliner, which I thought made it even cooler! While I’m seeing more and more zebra prints around, it doesn’t seem to be as popular as leopard and snakeskin are currently. But, if you’re looking for something zebra, this sweater from Target is only $19.99.

Leopard Print Pieces

I’ve been loving leopard for a while! I even wrote a blog post all about my favorite leopard midi skirt. Many people consider leopard a neutral, I’m sort of on the fence with that classification. I agree it goes with a lot because of the color, but to me the pattern adds more of a pop to a wardrobe than a traditional neutral. Your entire dress can be covered in leopard print or you can keep it simple by incorporating it into an accessory. Below are some leopard pieces to check out. I have had the sneakers for months and they are one of my favorite shoes!

Snakeskin Items to Take Note Of

Snakeskin is also having a moment. However, I would say it hasn’t been as popular as leopard. The sneakers below are the same sneakers I mentioned above, but in this print they are $15 less! The items I’ve linked are more casual pieces, but be sure to check out how I styled snakeskin in a business casual outfit.

Leopard or Snakeskin?

So which print is my favorite? I would have to say leopard. It seems easier to incorporate into different outfits to me, and I also own more leopard print pieces than snakeskin. However, I have been liking the print for quite a few months now, so I have a feeling I may be getting sick of it soon. Let me know which print you prefer!
