Every Halloween I like to share DIY Amazon Halloween costumes. Sure, you can go and buy a pre-made costume, but I like piecing them together. And elements of most of these costumes can be worn again! This year I’m sharing a mix of trendy and nostalgic costumes.

Meredith Blake Costume
“Being young and beautiful isn’t a crime you know.” Meredith Blake is the villain from the Parent Trap that you love to hate. This year, her fashion choices from the 1998 movie have resurfaced in popularity. I love this as a Halloween outfit because you can rewear the pieces. Plus, I’ve always loved her hiking set.
To recreate this look, you will need a sports bra, athletic sweater/jacket and some leggings. White stripes are key to pulling off the look.
My favorite detail of this costume is the lizard. I recommend gluing a fake lizard to a hair clip and placing it on the top of your head! Another fun detail to add to the costume is an Evian water bottle.
Bridgerton Halloween Costume
I wish the Bridgerton Experience would come to my city so I can have an excuse to dress up. If you’re like me and love this style, a Bridgerton-inspired costume is perfect for you.
This costume idea is inspired more by Daphne’s outfits in the first season.
Amazon has a lot of dresses that would be great for a Bridgerton / Regency Era costume. Some are little more pricey. Here are more options:
Princess Diaries Costume
The Princess Diaries was one of my favorite movies growing up. I think dressing up as Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, Princess of Genovia would be a lot of fun this Halloween!
The essentials to this costume are what is on the movie cover; a tiara, headset and sunglasses.
I’ve put a little twist on the outfit by recommending a short, white dress. The dress in the movie has little gold flowers on it. I scoured Amazon for a similar one but couldn’t find one. I think adding a little clutch with gold, floral detail can pay homage to the original dress.
Princess Mia was known for wearing her Dr. Martens in the movie, so I added them to the costume for fun.
Eddie Munson Costume For Women
Eddie Munson captured all of our hearts this year in the latest season of Stranger Things. Dressing up as Eddie would be on trend this Halloween, but you can also rewear most of the pieces for this costume.
The one thing you cannot forego with this costume is the Hellfire Club t-shirt. You can mix up the rest. For example, instead of a denim vest, go for a denim jacket. Or your can ditch the additional layer altogether,
The guitar is a fun prop for the outfit so you can act out Eddie rocking out in the upside down. But an air guitar also works!
Top Gun Women’s Halloween Outfit
Top Gun has been a popular Halloween costume since the original movie came out. With the release of the second movie this year, I think we will see this a lot. You can buy a complete Top Gun costume on Amazon, but I like putting them together to make them a little unique.
To put this costume together, start with a green jumpsuit and then you can purchase patches to place on it. I recommend pinning the patches on so they can be easily removed without damaging the jumpsuit. Then you can rewear it!
