Looking for a guest wedding dress for fall? I was too! This week I’m sharing the outfit I’m wearing to a wedding this fall. I’m also sharing the top three guest wedding dress trends I’m loving this season. I’ve linked nearly 20 dresses from a variety of retailers that are all under $70!
My Outfit for a Fall Wedding
I found this dress on ASOS and it is on sale! It’s technically a petite size, which I don’t usually wear, but I didn’t notice any issues with sizing here. I’m wearing 0 and I would say it fits true to size.
I haven’t had a chance to wear these golden heels yet, and I identified this as the perfect opportunity. Plus I love that my heels match the Iowa State Capitol! I found these heels at Target for $8 in February, they are also featured in my Valentine’s Day outfit inspiration post. Unfortunately, they are currently out of stock in the gold color, but they are still available in black, blush and taupe for $29.99.
My clutch is an Amazon find that comes in a ton of different colors. I selected this one because it was neutral but still went with my gold theme. This clutch is only $17.95! The earrings I’m wearing are BaubleBar ear crawlers that I received in my FabFitFun fall box, which I recently reviewed.
Fall Guest Wedding Dress Trends I’m Loving
While I was looking for a fall guest wedding dress, I noticed I was gravitating toward three dress trends which were satin dresses, fall floral patterns and dresses with pleats. I’ve created some collections of these dresses below.
Satin Dresses
Satin dresses are very on trend. Did you watch the Bachelor in Paradise? All the ladies were wearing satin dresses this year! Cowl necklines are also having a moment, see dresses one, two and three. However, of all the satin dresses my favorite would have to be number one from Red Dress Boutique, it also comes in black.
Fall Floral Dresses
Florals in fall? Yes! I generally like to save floral for spring and summer but I’m loving these dark floral prints for a guest wedding dress. Recently I came across the boutique called Bohme and I’m obviously loving it because dresses one, four and five are all from there. My favorite dress in this collection is number four, but I also think number two is really cute – it’s the least expensive in this post at $25.99.
Pleated Dresses
Finally, of course I’m loving pleated dresses because I chose to wear a pleated dress to a fall wedding. Number one is similar to the red dress I am wearing but with a slightly different fit. Number three I had to include because the back is draped and it is absolutely darling, and it’s on sale! Additionally, dress number five comes in a variety of different colors!
