Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020: Looks For Less

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is about to begin! This is the best sale of the year for the retailer and unique compared to other sales. However, I don’t have a Nordstrom card and I don’t like to wait. So, I have rounded up some items similar to the ones that will be on the sale that you can buy for even less!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins on August 4 for select card members, but Nordstrom is giving everyone a sneak peak at what will be on sale this year. Below are the sale dates based off of status:

• Icon Early Access: August 4 – 8
• Ambassador Early Access: August 7 – 18
• Influencer Early Access: August 10 – 18
• Insider Early Access: August 13 – 18
• Everyone: August 19 – 30

So, when will I be shopping the sale? On August 19 when it is open for everyone because I don’t have a Nordstrom card. And I’m okay with that!

This sale is like the Super Bowl for a lot of influencers. I watch them cover this sale extensively every year, and I really enjoy it!

However, I also know that while this is a good sale, you can still get a similar styles for even less. So I’ve created a list of items that will be on the sale that you can buy now and for a lot less. Some of these finds have a difference of over $100!

Why is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale such a big deal?

This sale really is unique because it works the opposite of a normal sale. Usually an item will be full price and then go on sale when the retailer is trying to make room for new inventory. However, Nordstrom puts these items on sale first and then the items will go back up to regular price. So if you like something, this is the time to get it!

Shoes that are on the sale, especially boots, seem to sell out the fastest. I’ve noticed that in previous years the good boots were sold out before the sale was open to everyone.
