This fall I’m looking for more timeless, staple pieces instead of things that are super trendy. The five fall fashion staples I’m buying this fall are a trench coat, white sneakers, trousers, cap toe shoes and a striped sweater. In this post I’m sharing where you can find all five items.

Trench Coats
Trench coats are a timeless piece to invest in this fall. I love their classic, preppy vibe. They work for rainy fall days or just when you need that extra layer as we transition into winter. I’m specifically loving them in more of a sand or khaki color.
This is one is from Sam Edelman and I found it on Amazon. I wanted to spend $100 – $200 on a trench coat to find a nice one that will last for years, but not super expensive. I also specifically wanted one that was double-breasted and had a tie around the waist. This one from Nordstrom is very similar but keeps going in and out of stock.

White Sneakers
I’ve rocked the Golden Goose dupes for a long time but I’ve recently made a switch to Vejas. I love this specific style of Vejas and the color; they are the Urca in white/neutral. I considered getting the black and white ones but I just really love the low contrast with the beige color. These go with everything! I wear them almost everyday.
Trousers
What I love about trousers is that they can be dressed up or down. I’ve also been struggling with jeans lately so these are good option to mix it up.

Cap Toe Heels
I’ve been eyeing some cap toe heels for probably over a year. Since I worked remote for the last couple of years I couldn’t justify buying heels but now that I go into the office more I can justify getting these.
Luckily VIVAIA reached out and gifted me a pair. These are the round-toe chunky heels in white/black. They are very comfortable and also made from recycled materials.

Striped Sweater
The last item on my list of fall fashion staples is a striped sweater. They are timeless and chic. I have a couple and they are something I reach for in my closet more so than others.
A sweater tank is great for this transitional time. I LOVE this tank from Anthropolgie. It’s very flattering and is good quality.
